We're doing a fun little project around here...growing our own wheatgrass! Aubrey has been itching to plant something and I could use a little spring growing on my countertop as well.I found a great tutorial here:
Here is our starter picture. I'm planning on using them as part of the decorations for Asher's birthday party...we'll see if they actually sprout. : )

ReplyDeleteI was going to crack open some food storage, but I decided it wasn't worth it for just a handful of wheat. : )
ReplyDeleteI just got hard red winter wheat at the Nature's Pantry (a health food store in Independence). I think I got a 1/4lb for around $1 and it was MORE than enough.
